Magda Kuiken

Magda Kuiken has over fifteen years experience in spatial industry including developing and implementing corporate GIS systems as part of e-government and e-service, project management, policy development, business analysis and client support.

Magda has qualifications in IT, management and environmental planning. She received her PhD in spatial science from the University of Queensland and postgraduate degree in IT from the Queensland University of Technology.

Over the last twenty years she has worked in local and state governments in Queensland and the UK. She has also served as a private sector consultant to government organizations.

Magda has thorough understanding of staff recruitment and purchasing procedures. In meeting management responsibilities, she has worked with all aspects of recruiting spatial professionals at various organisational levels.
