Connecting Spatial Professionals

We are seeking expressions of interest for various contract roles within the Wyong Shire local government area. We are looking at a variety of positions. The time frames for each position offered may vary but will fall within a 3 year period.

 

We are looking for a number of suitably qualified persons to take leading hand, technical and field data collection roles. For example potential spatial roles may include: 

• Project Directors;
• Project Managers;
• Draftspersons/CAD Operators;
• Field Engineers;
• Land Surveyors;
• Geotechnical Engineers;
• Environmental and Urban Planners;
• Ecologists (Flora, Fauna and Aquatic);
• Archaeologists.

  

Key Selection Criteria 

• Current GIS or Surveying experience in one or more of the following areas- 
  
  • Project Management
  • Contract Management
  • Project Planning and Approvals
  • Survey and Property Management
  • Environmental and Cultural Surveys
  • Client, Stakeholder and Community Liaison 

• Experience with the practical application of Geographic Information Systems and/or Surveying
• Experience in the use and application of spatial technologies including CAD and ESRI ArcGIS.
• Awareness of issues involving the application of GIS and/or Surveying within government organisations.
• Demonstrated communications skills (written, presentation and interpersonal).

 

This role is only available to residents of Australia or to those who hold valid working visas or permits
