We are seeking a GIS Specialist to joining us on an initial contract and based in Perth CBD.

Description of services required of contractor:
Key outcomes expected of contractor:
  • Requirements gathering into a prescribed form (Team Transition Plans)
  • Use case documentation
  • Quality management – working with the exploration team and vendors on quality planning, quality assurance and quality control.
  • Scope Management – monitoring, clarifying, escalating, updating and closing out.
  • Integration Management – ensuring dependencies and actions are identified followed up and closed out.
  • Continuous Improvement - Continuously improving the long term GIS solution.
  • Active contribution to collaborative groups operating in relevant subject areas.
  • Active participation in the office Health, Safety and Environment programme.
SKILLS REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE WORK:

Key Consultant Criteria:

 

  • Proven stakeholder engagement and management skills.
  • Proven business and technical analysis skills.
  • Proven business and technical requirements gathering and documentation.
  • Business process maps and technical functional specifications documentation
Specific skills/specialties:
  • Proven enterprise experience with the ESRI product stack.
  • Systems development lifecycle.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Facilitation skills
  • Written and oral communication skills
Leadership / Interpersonal skills
  • Interpersonal effectiveness: cross-cultural, cross-level
  • Facilitation skills
  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Desirable:
  • Experience in the Resources sector
  • Experience with Geological data
