Dean Howell

Dean is a Cartographer by profession and has over twenty years experience in the development and management of automated mapping systems. He is highly experienced in a wide range of software environments. While software and networking advancements gained momentum over the last 20 years, Dean has been able to experience a tremendous number of conditions and practical aspects to the GIS and IT industries.

Over the course of his career, he has provided project management services, training, assessment and implementation plans, business and market analysis, and is also the founder of GISjobs Australia and Spatial Jobs Online. Along with his administrative and management abilities, Dean has a firm grasp and understanding of application design and development, programming requirements, system integration, and training support systems.  

Dean has worked at all levels of government, and for large and small private and public companies. As additional credit to his accomplishments, he has provided consulting services throughout Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Timor Leste and the USA. His practical experience and record of accomplishments boost the confidence in his overall ability to provide comprehensive solutions.
